Responsibilities
- Maintain the upkeep and growth of plants, including picking fruit within a greenhouse environment, picking tomatoes, pruning, twisting, lowering plants, cleaning, and removal of plants throughout the season in line with the client’s guidelines.
- Load picked fruit into crates on a trolley; use scissor lifts and forklifts as required (full training will be provided).
- Operate a ‘clean as you go’ policy, ensuring the work area and surrounding areas are kept clean, clear of obstructions, and free of potential hazards.
- Act in a professional and courteous manner toward work colleagues, supervisors, and visitors.
- Ensure individual performance meets the necessary output levels.
- Carry out any other duties requested in a willing and helpful manner.
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week.
- 6:15 am – 3 pm – Hours may vary due to business needs.
- Shifts are 5 days per week with additional days available when busy.
