Join our Engineering Team at Thanet District Council!

We\’re seeking a Coastal Engineer to join our dynamic multi-disciplined Engineering Team to support in maintenance and project delivery across the Thanet district, but with a focus on the coastline. Responsibilities include carrying out defect inspections of 19 miles of coastline and making arrangements for repair, valuation of works and assisting in the preparation and implementation of coast protection and municipal engineering projects.

Local government experience is not essential but a sound knowledge of engineering principals and engineering tools such as AutoCAD is.
