Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Director to lead sales and business development strategies across the UK and the EMEA region. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this London-based role requires a commercially driven individual with a strong track record in ESG and sustainability data sales. Frequent travel is expected to engage with clients, enhance market presence, and contribute to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client relationships and business development efforts across existing clients and targeted markets.
- Act as a key ambassador, enhancing the Firm's market presence.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting market-specific sales goals.
- Strengthen client relationships through proactive engagement and exceptional service.
- Contribute to product development and strategic business planning.
- Participate in industry events, forums, and media engagements to strengthen brand visibility.
- Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in client relationship management and business development within a leading ESG and sustainability data provider.
- Proven success in driving sales and business development across UK and EMEA markets.
- Expertise in managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to post-sales support.
- Strong network of senior-level contacts within Asset Managers, Wealth Managers, Banks, and Insurance firms.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English (Italian and Spanish are a plus).
- Exceptional leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK by their start date.
