Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the Fund ESG Ratings team as an ESG Fund Research Analyst. You will contribute to the firm’s proprietary ESG ratings process, supporting the coverage of over 10,000 funds and ETFs and helping expand its global reach. The role combines rigorous sustainability research with client-facing responsibilities, offering strong career development opportunities in sustainable finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed sustainability analysis on funds using the firm’s proprietary ESG methodology.
- Prepare client reports and deliver insights on ESG risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to enhancing ESG rating capabilities by testing and proposing improvements.
- Write articles and reports on ESG-related topics for media and clients.
- Coordinate with IT and development teams to ensure smooth data exchange and system improvements.
- Manage relationships with Asset Managers to monitor the sustainable funds market and conduct due diligence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of ESG concepts and sustainable finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Organised, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
- Some experience in asset management or financial services is desirable.
