This role is all about keeping things moving. As a Scheduler, you’ll play a key part in making sure work is planned efficiently, resources are used in the best way, and our field teams have everything they need to deliver for customers. It’s a fast-paced, varied role where no two days look the same, and you’ll be right at the centre of operations.
What you’ll be doing as a Scheduler:
- Planning and scheduling daily work for field teams across your assigned area.
- Making sure every technician has a full, productive day with the right jobs matched to their skills.
- Managing both reactive and planned work, keeping everything aligned with priorities and SLAs.
- Monitoring progress throughout the day and adjusting schedules where needed.
- Acting as the main point of contact for allocating and reallocating work.
- Communicating with field teams, managers and other stakeholders to keep everyone updated.
- Responding quickly to issues, escalating where needed to minimise customer impact.
- Ensuring all work is completed, correctly recorded, and follow-up actions are arranged.
- Keeping systems updated and maintaining accurate scheduling data.
- Supporting the team by helping reduce backlogs and improve ways of working.
Working hours: Monday to Friday with shifts between 7:00–15:00, 8:00–16:00 and 9:00–17:00.
What you should bring to the role:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to work with data and spot issues.
- Confidence using systems such as Excel, and willingness to learn SAP and Click.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organised under pressure.
- A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
