Finance and Commercial (F&C) are embarking on a multiyear transformation journey programme to be a trusted, respected, and innovative team, driving sustainable value creation for our shareholders, providing timely, actionable insight and maintaining strong financial discipline and control. This will be an end-to-end transformation of the way we are organised, the systems we use, the processes we have in place and the data we rely on so that we become FTSE Fit in terms of our capabilities and how we operate in support of Thames Water.
The Programme Management Lead is responsible for ensuring that F&C Transformation is governed effectively, risks and dependencies are controlled, resources and budgets are well-managed, and the transformation roadmap is delivered on time and to quality.
What you will be doing as Programme Management Lead:
- Running the governance framework
- Driving delivery of the roadmap and actioning any agreed change control to scope or timing
- Assessing progress on the workstreams and reporting to stakeholders
- Managing interdependencies and effective sequencing of the work
- Owning the budget for the programme and managing costs and resource plans
- Surfacing risks and issues and driving resolution on a timely basis
- Being the central coordination point between F&C Transformation and the wider Thames Water transformation, ensuring the programme is integrated into the parallel change activities across the business
