Start your Project Management career with Thames Water. Kick‑start your future as a Change/Project Management Apprentice in our Complaints Transformation Team. You’ll support programme tracking, update plans, record risks, prepare reports, and work toward a Level 4 Associate Project Manager qualification.
What you’ll do:
- Track programme benefits by collecting data and updating business cases.
- Maintain plans by updating activities, deadlines, and progress.
- Capture dependencies and keep the RAID log accurate and up to date.
- Prepare draft reports, presentations, and meeting updates.
- Coordinate approvals and follow up with stakeholders.
- Support task planning, progress tracking, and team coordination.
- Work with the Delivery Team to understand problems and suggest solutions.
- Gather customer feedback, support analysis, and help develop business cases.
Where you will work:
Location: Walnut Court SN2 8BN - Hybrid
Hours: 36 hours a week across four working days plus one off-the-job training day.
Start date: Sept 2026
Training and qualification:
You’ll study with BPP Training, one of the UK’s leading project management training providers via weekly virtual workshops.
Qualification: Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard - This aligns with Association for Project Management for Associate Membership.
Duration: Permanent contract with a 24-month structured programme.
What you should bring to the role:
- 5 GCSE Maths and English (grade 9-4 / A-C)
- 48+ UCAS points or equivalent relevant qualification
- Strong organisational skills, ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Good IT knowledge including Microsoft Office
- Passionate about learning and aligned with Thames Water’s goals for the future
