Your role will involve field‑based and office‑based reviews to uphold asset and industry standards. You will work closely with operational teams, suppliers and stakeholders to produce guidance, improve compliance, and deliver the best value for money.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with operational colleagues and suppliers to review procedures and delivery against industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and experts to produce guidance documents and introduce consistent standards across projects.
  • Investigate and improve compliance with asset/industry standards, aiming for maximum value for money.
  • Use a starter–finisher mindset to ensure improvements are embedded.
  • Leverage the support network of contract managers, quantity surveyors and senior managers to drive change.
  • Adapt to dynamic workload and resource allocation as required.

What you bring

  • Strong organisation and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, flexible, and capable of high‑quality report writing.
  • Inquisitive and methodical approach to quality assurance.
  • Commercial acumen and excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings / asset standards.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of wastewater and Salesforce is desirable but not essential.

  • 24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 after length of service + bank holidays.
