We are recruiting for Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Technicians across the Thames Valley area. This position will be responsible for R&M across our North London network, with occasional travel to South London when required.
Base location: North London - Kentish Town (NW5 1TN) or Lea Bridge Depot (E5 9RJ).
Working pattern or hours: Average 45 hours a week on a shift pattern including a standby rota. Full UK Driving Licence and Street works (NRSWA)/SSSTS qualification required.
What you’ll be doing as a Repair & Maintenance Technician:
- You will be the Leader of a two-person R&M Team.
- Ensuring that all work undertaken is completed to the correct safety and quality standards.
What you should bring to the role:
- You will have experience or training in repair and maintenance in the water industry.
- You must be able to meet the physical demands of the role with the ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Be competent in using computers and other IT equipment.
- Use your initiative and problem-solve where repairs are required.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical messages in a simple way.
- Have a can-do, positive attitude, remaining open to new ideas and change.
- Be self-motivated and confident at completing tasks to the best of your ability.
- Advantageous if you have an EUSR Water Hygiene certificate.
