Every pound we invest matters. That’s why this role sits at the heart of how we plan, track and challenge capital investment across Waste & Bioresources. As a TOTEX Programme Senior Analyst, you’ll provide insight, control and assurance across our Directly Managed Capital programme, helping us balance cost, risk and delivery while supporting better outcomes for customers and the environment. You’ll work closely with operational, finance and business partners, translating complex data into clear insight, identifying risks early and supporting informed decision-making. It’s a role with real visibility, variety and the chance to influence how large-scale investment is delivered.
Base Location: Hybrid - Clearwater Court, RG1 8DB
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 36 Hours per week.
What you’ll be doing as a TOTEX Programme Senior Analyst?
As a TOTEX Programme Senior Analyst, you’ll support the management and performance of the Waste & Bioresources Directly Managed Capital programme, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality. You’ll:
- Provide financial insight, reporting and assurance across the capital programme, including capital and operational efficiencies.
- Track programme performance against agreed targets and support performance reporting into governance forums.
- Identify key risks across the programme and support the development and monitoring of mitigation plans.
- Partner with operational and business stakeholders to challenge assumptions, balance priorities and support delivery.
- Monitor, track and analyse programme financials, benefits and outputs, ensuring data is accurate and meaningful.
- Build strong working relationships across finance, operations and delivery teams.
The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role is:
- Demonstrable experience in finance partnering, programme support or business analysis within a complex organisation.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, with the ability to analyse data and provide clear insight.
- Experience using enterprise financial systems, such as SAP.
- Proven ability to manage priorities, assess risk and support delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have:
- A finance, business or programme management qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting capital investment or infrastructure programmes.
- Knowledge of programme or project management frameworks.
