Job DescriptionNon-Working Electrical Supervisor\ N \n Thames Water Region Permanent Β£58,000 - Β£65,000 + Vehicle / Car Allowance + Green Car Scheme \ N We are recruiting for a Non-Working Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of MEICA projects across the Thames Water region. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, overseeing electrical installation activities delivered by specialist subcontractors whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and programme performance. \ N This is a predominantly site-based role, with some flexibility for home working where project requirements allow. \ N \nThe Role\n \n \ N As Non-Working Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising electrical installation works across multiple live project sites. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Commissioning Engineers and Thames Water stakeholders, you will ensure electrical activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project objectives. \ N You will manage approximately three electrical subcontractors, acting as the key point of contact between site teams, delivery teams and the client. \ N \nKey Responsibilities\n \ N \n Supervise electrical installation works across water and wastewater projects within the Thames Water region. \ N Manage and coordinate the activities of electrical subcontractors. \ N Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved RAMS and site procedures. \ N Monitor quality standards, workmanship and compliance with project specifications. \ N Coordinate labour, materials, access requirements and work fronts to maintain programme performance. \ N Support electrical testing, commissioning and handover activities. \ N Manage permit requirements, isolations and site controls in line with Thames Water procedures. \ N Review installation activities from a constructability perspective and identify potential delivery risks. \ N Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, Design Engineers and Thames Water representatives to resolve technical and operational issues. \ N Provide regular progress updates and escalate programme, quality or safety concerns where required. \ N Support project documentation, inspections, snagging and handover records. \ N \n \nEssential Requirements\ N \n \n Previous experience supervising electrical works on Thames Water projects. \ N SMSTS qualification. \ N Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). \ N 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. \ N ECS/JIB Gold Card or equivalent supervisory-level electrical qualification. \ N Strong understanding ofelectrical installations within water and wastewater treatment environments. \ N Experience managing electrical subcontractors and coordinating complex site activities. \ N Full UK Driving Licence. \ N \n \nDesirable Experience\ N \n \n ElectricalInspection
