Mechanical & Electrical Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual to join our Esher team as an Electrical and Mechanical Technician, your role will be to perform a range of assigned front-line maintenance/operational activities on our sewage pumping stations in the Esher Surrey area.This will include planned and preventative maintenance of sewage pumping stations to support the operation of our assets.On a day-to-day basis, you will receive your “workload” and will also be answering emergency alarms. You will be working as part of a team but may also be alone which highlights the importance of our high health and safety standards.The role also requires you to take part in a 1 week in every 6 weeks out of hours emergency standby rota, for which you receive additional payments.Base Location – Esher – Surrey – KT10 8AU.38 hours per week Monday-Friday.7:30 am -3:36 pm. What you should bring to the role as a Mechanical & Electrical Technician You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems working in a “true multi-skilled” capacity. Previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship. ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering is crucial. Experience in maintaining, testing, installing and fault diagnosis on electrical plant equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues are crucial.
