Join us at the forefront of one of the UKs most high-profile wastewater infrastructure programmes. We are looking for a Project Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works upgrade, a c.300m AMP8 investment where pace, precision and impact truly matter.
With early procurement and accelerated delivery at its core, this is a unique opportunity to lead critical activities, influence key decisions, and help mitigate delivery and regulatory risk on a programme of national importance.
What you'll be doing as a Project Manager:
- Champion a proactive health, safety and environmental culture across complex, high-risk projects and our supply chain.
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met.
- Develop and deliver optimised project solutions that meet regulatory, statutory and internal requirements.
- Lead across the full project lifecycle, ensuring governance compliance and seamless transition into operations.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, partners and customers to drive successful outcomes.
- Protect and enhance Thames Water's reputation through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Develop high-quality project briefs to support early contractor involvement.
- Manage and challenge contractor performance to ensure delivery against agreed outcomes.
Location: Hybrid - Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works (23 days per week), with travel across the Thames Water region as required.
Requirement: Full UK driving licence.
