What you’ll be doing as a Technical Assurance Engineer:

  • Collaborating closely with project managers and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to the required quality and within budget.
  • Leading on technical project queries — including compliance, environmental and regulatory matters — and liaising with relevant internal and external authorities.
  • Ensuring contractors and consultants provide robust evidence demonstrating compliance with engineering, technical and construction standards.

This is a hybrid role based at Hampton Coal Wharf, requiring a mix of office, site and home working depending on business and project needs.

  • A strong understanding of construction and/or operational environments.
  • Solid technical capability in a relevant engineering field.
  • Commercial awareness and a strong practical understanding of engineering contracts.
  • A collaborative mindset, willingness to learn and confidence to contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
