We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our team at Banbury Sewage Treatment Works. You do not need a background in the waste or water industry. We would welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.
This role is an essential front-line role, which the business simply cannot operate without you. Every day is different; you will be working in all weather conditions carrying out a range of tasks across multiple sites to ensure the essential functions of our sewage treatment works operate to maintain the supply to our customers and protect the environment. Planned preventative maintenance of equipment to support the operation of the plant.

What you'll be doing as the Process Technician:
- Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience.
- Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to ensure on-site operational and health and safety standards are maintained.
- Attending reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
- Keeping sites clean and tidy and undertaking safety and security checks.
- Carrying out daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.
Base Location: Banbury STW, Thorpe Mead, Banbury, OX16 4RZ. Travel between various sites will be required.
Working Pattern: 38 Hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 15:30 pm plus inclusion on a weekend working rota. Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase your earning potential upon completion of essential company training.
Due to the nature of this role you must hold a full UK drivers Licence. Equipment: All PPE, tools, a company van and a fuel card are provided.

- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to interact with the team.

- Proactive - take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively.
- Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.
- Full UK driver's licence.
