The predicted salary is between 40000 - 45000 £ per year.

Writing, updating, communicating and keeping version control of all LOCC Team Processes, Logistics Delivery (Driver and Supervisor) processes, relevant clean water quality processes, Bio-Recycling processes and Inventory team processes. Create training material related to Logistics Operational Control Centre training processes. Deliver appropriate sections of training to Logistics Operational Control Centre teams. You will monitor a team of Logistics Planners, utilising business data and statistical methods to provide insight into planning performance and suggest methods of improving execution and delivery. Present insight and recommendations to management for decision-making and strategic planning. Organise and run the Logistics daily call and present insights and issues to the wider Logistics team for resolution. Collate, control and develop internal/external information sources for business analysis and continuous improvement. Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets. Extensive knowledge of department processes, assess and investigate process-related issues and recommend process resolution. Suggest changes to management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.

Location – Hybrid, Kemble Court, Reading

Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

What you should bring to the role:

  • Analytical and quantitative skills, and be familiar with logistics and production planning concepts.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of databases, statistics applications and logistics programs are essential.
  • Comfortable collaborating with other employees at different organisational levels and different departments/functions, encouraging them to communicate findings, give recommendations and facilitate change effectively.
  • Working under pressure in an operational environment, meeting demanding targets.
  • A working knowledge of work management processes and systems is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and have strong IT skills in Microsoft Office.
