Electrical Technician

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Waste Team at Crossness STW. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical maintenance technician to join the second-largest STW in the UK. You will join a close-knit team which varies in age and ability, all performing at a high level. This role offers great learning potential with the ability to cross-skill into other disciplines.As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our sewage treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. What you\’ll be doing as an Electrical Technician Investigating plant failures and carrying out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process. This may involve investigating and diagnosing complex faults and carrying out repairs during incidents. Carry out planned maintenance work on electrical equipment in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdowns. Provided technical advice to the wider team, referred to up-to-date technical knowledge, and provided training or support for technical trainees if required.
