This is an exceptional opportunity for an engineering project manager to join the highly collaborative and supportive Infrastructure Programme Team. In this role you will lead the delivery of a varied portfolio of DMC‑funded projects, providing MEICA engineering and construction solutions across Water and Waste networks – both above and below ground – and at water and wastewater production sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of all construction projects within the programme, ensuring 100% compliance with client specifications.
- Manage framework suppliers and subcontractor supply chain involved in infrastructure network construction activities.
- Provide estimates, programming, and planning support to the wider team.
- Ensure delivery complies with legislative, CDM, and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and HR.
- Deliver projects with minimal impact on operational functionality of client sites.
- Manage up to 10 staff, including training, development and support of directly managed Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
Qualifications
- Degree or HND in engineering and/or business administration, preferably with post‑qualification experience.
- Strong commercial and technical experience in civil engineering works, contract law, planning, estimating and tendering.
- Proven track record of project management in an engineering environment with knowledge of mechanical, civil, ICA systems and below‑ground assets.
- Experience managing procurement processes, framework suppliers and subcontractor supply chains.
- Excellent resource planning, scheduling and estimating skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
