We are looking for a Process Coach to join Thames Water on a permanent basis. The role of a Process Coach is to develop and assess the competencies of individuals participating in the company’s Licence to Operate (LTO) programmes for Water Networks and R&M. To articulate and demonstrate high standards of operational excellence within front-line operational teams through developing, delivering and assessing Licence to Operate (LTO) competency plans for individuals, teams and regions in line with the Thames Water values, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating training, coaching, competency assessment, and task observations in line with the LTO process.
- Develop individual competency plans for personnel within Water Networks, ensuring their learning material is updated and relevant, and ensuring all personnel have the same journey.
- Monitor and report on performance against the LTO plan and lead on initiatives for the development of the LTO, as necessary.
- Drive engagement with the Licence to Operate programme and manage expectations by acting upon feedback and raising issues.
- Provide guidance in line with industry standards on how to develop individual competency plans.
- Monitor and provide feedback on the delivery of individual competency plans, through creating exercises to identify learning gaps, to enable the individual to continuously achieve a licence to operate.

- Training, coaching, and assessment experience, with the ability to adapt approaches to learner needs.
- Experience in internal quality assurance, ensuring standards and continuous improvement.
