The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract for an experienced Change Communications professional to support Finance, Commercial, Procurement and PMO functions through organisational change.
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership teams to build and deliver a change communications strategy that reflects the culture change.
- Ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time, particularly through organisational and operational change communications.
- Support the development and delivery of communication channels such as intranet, social media, e‑newsletters and digital screens, and look for opportunities to improve through digital channels.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to align messaging and maintain internal consistency.
- Build trust and confidence with internal stakeholders and manage relationships across the business.
- Measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategy to achieve desired impact.
- Partner closely with the wider communications team to deliver overarching business communication priorities and the overall Communication Strategy for Thames Water.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong track record in change communications and a proven ability to support organisational change at a senior level.
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Design and video editing skills would be a bonus.
- Experience working within a matrix structure and collaborating with finance and commercial functions.
- Demonstrated ability to measure communication effectiveness and drive change through data and insights.
- Committed to a purpose‑driven team and able to help the business get back on track.
