The Project Coordinator supports the planning, delivery, and oversight of projects within Water and Waste, ensuring activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for Water/Waste infrastructure and maintenance projects.
- Coordinate daily project activities to ensure tasks are delivered on time and in line with operational priorities.
- Assist in preparing project documentation.
- Facilitate communication to ensure all parties understand project requirements, constraints, and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records for H&S audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
- Monitor project risks and elevate issues that may impact regulatory obligations.
- Track project milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables using internal systems and reporting tools.
- Prepare progress updates, dashboards, and status reports for project managers and senior stakeholders.
- Understand financial systems, including SAP and Daptiv, to support the teams, Project Engineers, and Risk Manager as required.
Base location
Hybrid β can be based at any Thames Valley site (e.g., Newbury (STW), Reading (STW), or Swindon (STW)).
Working pattern
36 hours per week β Monday to Friday, with flexibility for site-based work and travel across the region.
Qualifications
- Previous project, change management, and/or PMO experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.
- High standard of verbal and written English required.
- Ability to work flexibly when required, with travel across the region.
- Driving licence & own car essential.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary between Β£42,000 to Β£47,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
- Annual leave: 26 days per year, increasing to 30 days with length of service (plus bank holidays).
