The role is accountable for the engagement, coordination and support of operational input into the totex solutions associated with the AMP8 delivery programme.
Leading a team, the post holder will ensure the achievement of sustainable outcomes, representing operations with responsibility for the identification, development, acceptance and implementation of solutions which deliver the required totex benefits across the AMP.
What you’ll be doing as a Project Delivery Manager:
- Coordinate major project activities across strategic pumping stations and trunk sewers, including Tideway, HS2, and Capital Delivery programmes.
- Collaborate closely with the Tideway Integration Team and key internal stakeholders.
- Manage a £5m Capex budget, oversee multimillion‑pound project delivery, and control an Opex budget of over £1m.
- Lead and develop a team of 14, fostering a strong, customer‑focused culture.
- Deliver audit actions, system improvements, and effective resource planning across contractors and operational teams.
- Own health & safety performance for all project activities and lead continuous H&S improvements.
- Drive PR24/AMP8 planning and lead the regional risk review process.
- Deliver critical asset inspection programmes and lead wet well and sewer‑cleaning initiatives.
- Ensure operational needs are embedded in project delivery and manage seamless handovers with operational teams.
- Lead improvement programmes, stakeholder management, and development of outage plans aligned with capital and operational requirements.
Working pattern or hours: 36 Hours per week (Monday – Friday), plus the addition of a standby rota for which you will receive additional compensation.
