The predicted salary is between 34000 - 37000 ÂŁ per year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our inventory team in Oxfordshire. Your role within this team is to support and lead with the Stores' administrative and Stock management process across the Distribution Hubs within a specific Region. This position will be located out of our Kidlington depot.
What you will be doing as an Inventory Supervisor:
- Provide Supervisory governance for Stock and asset integrity across area distribution Hubs locations.
- Engagement with all Network Inventory teams to provide resilience and support as and where required.
- Comply with standards, processes and policies.
- Assist the Site Manager at each location in support of SLG and Plant management, and act as COP/Deputy Controller of Premises in some locations.
- Initiate stocktaking activities across Distribution Hubs in your area.
- Ensure teams provide Issues against WO and ad hoc as required, meeting TW output daily.
- Receipts from RDC and Vendor into stores using SAP WM/RF.
- Support and develop processes to help the DH operatives perform their day-to-day activities effectively.
- Maintain adequate resources in consumables to manage SAP WM hardware, as well as help to support colleagues with the use of the system.
- Manage faults and investigations on all sites, including engagement with wider stakeholders and operational teams emphasis on “Team Thames”.
- Supervise the returns process in compliance.
- Provide Resilience to the TV and wider Inventory teams during events, specifically DIDCOT RDC.
- Provide support cover Outside Normal Working Hours as and when required – Standby Rota.
- Investigate variables in stock and advise Line Management.
- Develop a team in the use of SAP as SAP WM Super User.
- Understand and use SAP WMS to invoke issues, receipts, and transfers.
- Maintain the integrity of the stock of Pipes and Fittings as well as PPE and Small tools.
- Have direct responsibility for the returns process and onboard returns from Gangs and WO.s to SAP WM.
- Provide supervision with material labelling and system labelling where required.
- Use the SAP WM and RF handheld device to support the operative team as part of the warehouse operative role across the region.
- Carry out administrative duties to include data input, filing and email management.
- Provide additional resilience to call out rota for DH sites, Didcot RDC, Network Hubs under Stock Ops 2 and where necessary in conjunction with LM.
- Comply with H&S and safeguarding process at all times.
- Support the line manager in the coaching, mentoring & appraising of TW employees on each site as required.

- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent product knowledge and asset management.
- Commercial awareness surrounding Costs, KPI and SAP WM interpretation.
- Self-starter – ability to hit the ground running.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive through new processes and embed these into the function.
- Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Organisation and Time Management.
- Good operating awareness of SAP WM/RF is advantageous.
- Fork Lift operation for: Counter Balance, Telehandler, Reach Truck.
