This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone with engineering project management experience to join a highly collaborative and supportive team in our Capital Maintenance Projects and deliver modern and innovative solutions to our operational sites. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste, and water network functions, both above and below ground. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative and cost-effective strategies that promote cultural change, business improvements, increased productivity, and embed our corporate values and behaviours.

What you will be doing as an Engineering Delivery Manager:

  • Being a key member of the growing Capital Maintenance Projects team.
  • Managing procurement processes, framework suppliers, and subcontractor supply chains involved in site-based construction activities.
  • Overseeing resource management and supporting the training and development of Project Engineers.
  • Providing estimates, programming, and planning support to the team.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and meet client specifications.
  • Managing client site requirements to minimize operational impact.
  • Delivering projects in compliance with legislative, CDM, and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and HR standards.

The role is based at Maple Lodge in West London, with travel across the area required. Hours are 36 per week, Monday to Friday.

Candidate requirements include:

  • Experience in a commercial and technical role, preferably with a degree or HND in engineering or business administration, along with post-qualification experience.
  • Understanding of civil engineering works, contract law, planning, estimating, and tendering.
  • Proven project management experience in an engineering environment, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and ICA systems.
  • Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor supply chains.
  • Ability to manage resources and support staff development.
  • Skills in estimating, programming, and planning.
  • Capability to deliver projects on time, within specifications, and with minimal operational impact.
  • Experience managing teams of up to 10 staff and stakeholder engagement.
