Thames View Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Site Operative to join the Facilities team, to start with immediate effect. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the school site is a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

  • General maintenance
  • Site security
  • Health and safety checks
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the school

There may also be a requirement to travel to, or be based at, any of the other Trust school sites to provide support, cover staff absences, or meet operational and staffing needs.

This is a part time, permanent role, all year round, paid on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (FTE £25,185 - £28,142 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £20,420 - £22,817 per annum). The working pattern will consist of 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
