This position will support the Public Access function, enabling the Force to respond appropriately to requests for information and advice. In this interesting role, you will provide an effective service to internal and external customers on all Public Access related activities, answering and responding to general enquiries and correspondence from customers, providing advice and guidance or escalating as appropriate.

You will have good problem-solving abilities and customer service skills, with attention to detail and deadlines. Highly effective communication skills are essential together with advanced user skills in computer applications including spreadsheets and databases. A high degree of integrity and trust is required as you will be dealing with sensitive and classified information. An understanding of Information Management principles and relevant legislation such as Data Protection Act, MOPI and Freedom of Information Act is required.
