We’re looking for a motivated and proactive Intelligence Officer to join SEROCU — a collaborative, high‑performing unit at the forefront of tackling serious and organised crime across the South East. In this dynamic and impactful position, you will play a critical role in developing intelligence that underpins operations targeting serious and organised criminals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance intelligence picture‑building to support operational priorities
- Analyse, evaluate and interpret complex information from multiple sources
- Identify emerging threats, risks and opportunities to disrupt criminal activity
- Work closely with investigators, analysts and partner agencies
- Support the development of intelligence packages that lead to enforcement action
- Contribute to safeguarding vulnerable individuals and protecting communities
Qualifications & Requirements
- We’re seeking motivated and detail‑focused individuals with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Applicants will be organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while building effective working relationships.
- Experience in intelligence, investigations or a related policing function is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to turn complex information into clear insights, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities are required.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Applicants must have resided in the UK for the past five years.
- Security vetting at SC level, together with enhanced checks, is mandatory.
- Candidates may be required to travel across the South East and occasionally throughout the UK.
