An exciting opportunity to work in the challenging world of Child Abuse Investigations as a PIP 2 Investigator.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a mixed team of police officers and staff.
- Manage, progress and investigate serious and complex criminal offences and other incidents and enquiries.
- Complete investigative actions and maintain victim and witness confidence to facilitate successful outcomes.
- Prepare case papers ensuring file completeness and delivery in accordance with court deadlines, legislation and force policy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills with a wide audience.
- Proven analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Full driving licence and capability to travel across the Force.
