Position Overview
Logistics and Planning Officer in our Intelligence unit.
The successful applicant will manage sensitive intelligence in support of serious crime investigations and demonstrate proven organisational, planning and time‑management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and analyse sensitive intelligence and tactics.
- Ensure adherence to processes and compliance with legislation while working under pressure.
- Enhance operational activity and support terrorist investigations.
- Travel & Working Hours
This role is part of a national, regional and local network and requires routine travel throughout the UK, often including long and unsociable hours.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Security Vetting
Security is paramount.
Applicants must pass and maintain a DV level vetting.
You must be a British National, having resided in the UK for the past ten years, with limited travel to a small number of countries once in post.
Exemptions apply for overseas or diplomatic service and studying abroad.
Qualifications
- Experience managing sensitive intelligence in support of serious crime investigations.
- Strong organisational, planning and time‑management skills.
- British National status with UK residence for ten years.
