As an Intelligence Analyst you will use recognised analytical techniques to create intelligence products aimed at supporting the national conversation on how to tackle SOC with the most up-to-date and accurate data and analysis from policing.

You will also analyse and assess known and emerging SOC threats as outlined in the South East Control Strategy to devise strategies and recommendations to assist in the detection, prevention, targeting and disruption of these problems. The Research and Analysis department offers a comprehensive induction, mentoring and training package for all new starters irrespective of experience.

We welcome applications from people with an analytical mind-set or have analytical experience from various industry areas who have a proven ability to problem solve and deliver and communicate results effectively. If you are keen to explore a new challenge, apply your analytical skills into an exciting role, and make a tangible difference through your work we look forward to receiving your application.

Please note that this role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK. Therefore, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence.

Additionally, this role supports live operations and investigations so there may be times where the flexibility to work overtime is required to manage operational risk. Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.

The leadership within CTPSE and SEROCU are actively committed to embedding and sustaining an inclusive culture that recognises and champions the diversity of our people, and promotes equity and equality so that everyone can succeed at work. • Inclusive by Design – We will ensure that inclusion is a core principle of our policies, products, and decisions.

We welcome applications from those interested in part time and flexible working, and encourage applications from our under represented communities. Our people say that benefits include a good work/life balance, a supportive and welcoming place to work and excellent terms including a generous pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
