Part/Full Time: Full Time - All roles are available for flexible working including job sharing and part-time unless there are legitimate operational/business reasons why this cannot be accommodated.
This is an exciting opportunity to join TVP’s Asset Recovery Team. The team supports Thames Valley Police by conducting Proceeds of Crime Act (PoCA) civil proceedings and confiscation investigations, pursuing criminals who have benefitted from their criminality and looking at ways to remove such benefit and recover the assets.
You will investigate Cash Seizures, Account Freezing, Listed Assets & Crypto Investigations and conduct confiscation Investigations. You will use the various PoCA powers available to conduct thorough investigations and prepare your investigations for court.
The role holder must be self-motivated, able to work with the minimum of supervision, and be well organised, sometimes working to tight deadlines (preparing case files and dealing with large volumes of material). You must be able to demonstrate high attention to detail, excellent investigation skills, with the ability to review and analyse financial material, and you should be able to present findings in a clear and joined-up way.
Unless already fully accredited as a Financial Investigator (FIO, FI, CRiSP, Confiscator, Restraint, S.47), the post holder will be required to complete the relevant entrant's exam and training and thereafter submit the respective PDP to attain full accreditation with the NCA Proceeds of Crime Centre (PoCC).
Please note you will be required to travel for business purposes across the Thames Valley area and occasionally throughout the UK. Therefore, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence.
