We welcome applications from Police Constables for an exciting and rewarding job opportunity within our SEROCU Investigation Syndicate. You will work as a Police Constable as part of a successful team to investigate a range of serious and organised crime within the South East Region and surrounding areas, participating in both overt and covert policing operations.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will provide high‑level investigative work across the various investigation roles, through to file and court presentation.
  • They will utilise skills and knowledge to support colleagues and forces with professional advice, and support deployments with operational activity not only within the Investigation Syndicate but across the wide‑spread capabilities of the SEROCU.
  • The post holder must comply with CPIA and RIPA requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel for business purposes mainly across the South East region and occasionally throughout the UK.
  • Obtain and maintain a vetting level SC with enhanced security checks, and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or diplomatic service with HM Government, and for those studying abroad.
