Exciting opportunity to join the Borders team as an Intelligence Analyst within the Joint Maritime Security Centre (JMSC). The JMSC is the UK Government’s centre of excellence for maritime security, enhancing awareness and understanding of maritime security threats and enabling effective cross‑government coordination to deliver a whole‑system response to mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality tactical and strategic intelligence analysis to inform, advise and support decision‑makers and Senior Police Officers.

Qualifications and Working Conditions

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Ready to work flexible hours; on‑call arrangements may be required.
  • Pass and maintain DV vetting level and other enhanced security checks.
  • British National resident in the UK for the past ten years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or diplomatic service.
  • Limitations on travelling to a small number of countries.
