SEROCU’s Cyber Crime Command delivers the regional and force Pursue, Protect, Prepare and Prevent response to cyber crime across the South East.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pursue teams through the delivery of financial investigations, POCA civil proceedings, and confiscation investigations.
- Identify criminal assets and evidence of money laundering, setting clear investigative parameters and delivering outcomes in a timely manner.
- Work effectively with investigation teams (up to and including SIO level) and deliver high‑quality financial intelligence analysis.
- Prepare case files, manage large volumes of material, and provide evidence at trial.
- Make applications for court orders in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Accredited Financial Investigator (FIO, FI, Confiscator, CRiSP, Restraint, S.47) – priority.
- Or be willing to complete the required entrant exams and training and then submit the PDP to attain full NCA PoCC accreditation.
- Self‑motivated, well‑organised, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent investigative skills, high attention to detail, ability to review and analyse financial intelligence and present findings clearly.
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- Affiliation with security clearance: must pass and maintain SC level with enhanced security checks; must have resided in the UK for the past five years.
