Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the CRiSP Team, proactively targeting criminal assets using POCA Civil Recovery in Summary Proceedings powers.
- Expand the existing capability to identify and deny criminal assets.
- Supervise a team of Financial Investigators, dealing with both complex and high‑volume civil investigations.
- Travel to attend court, meetings and operations across the region, including Gatwick airport.
- Work closely with key partners within SE ROCU and externally, including Border Force and Immigration, to support seizure operations at South East Ports.
- Provide on‑call arrangements for immediate response across the South East region as required.
Qualifications
- Strong background and accreditation as a Financial Investigator.
- High degree of understanding of illicit finances, money laundering and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent team leadership with the ability to develop and mentor staff.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Completed SC security vetting and maintained enhanced security checks; must have resided in the UK for the past five years.
