Full time vacancy. Applications are invited from candidates wishing to join a team involved in the recovery and viewing of CCTV evidence in support of major crime investigations. You will need excellent communication skills to engage with the public and business owners in the vicinity of crime scenes; and excellent analytical and written skills to review material and prepare evidential reports.
Responsibilities:
- Be involved in the recovery and viewing of CCTV evidence in support of major crime investigations.
- Liaise and work with other agencies to support Major Crime investigations including the Highways Authority, local councils, public transport and private companies to develop professional relationships.
- Travel across the Force to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly.
- Recognise that unsocial hours and lone working may require consideration of safety and transport options; driving may be necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills to engage with the public and business owners near crime scenes.
- Excellent analytical and written skills to review material and prepare evidential reports.
- Capability to travel across the Force and work flexibly; full driving licence is considered essential for this role.
- Ability to liaise with other agencies as part of Major Crime investigations.
