We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Investigator to lead and coordinate the CRi SP Team, which proactively targets criminal assets using POCA Civil Recovery in Summary Proceedings powers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the CRi SP Team’s capability to identify and deny criminal assets.
- Supervise a team of Financial Investigators conducting both complex and high-volume civil investigations.
- Develop and mentor staff across the region, empowering them to innovate in this rapidly changing environment.
- Travel to court, meetings and operations throughout the region, including Gatwick Airport.
- Collaborate closely with key partners such as Border Force, Immigration and other external agencies.
- Maintain operational flexibility, including flexible and remote working arrangements, two days per week from the office, and occasional on-call duties.
Qualifications
- Strong background and accreditation as a Financial Investigator.
- In-depth understanding of illicit finances and money laundering, with strong analytical skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Eligible for SC security vetting and have resided in the UK for the past five years.
- Working hours and travel
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Flexible remote working is permitted, with a requirement to work from the office at least two days per week.
Traveling across the region, including Gatwick Airport, is required for court, meetings and operations.
