We are working with a well-regarded civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking to add a Civil Engineer to their growing infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is looking to take ownership of projects, further develop their technical capability, and play a key role in delivering development infrastructure schemes across residential and commercial sectors.

The Role

You will play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure design from planning through to detailed design, working both independently and alongside senior engineers across a varied project portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design of drainage, highways and earthworks for development-led projects
  • Preparing and supporting technical submissions for S38, S278 and S104 agreements
  • Producing drawings, calculations and design reports
  • Supporting projects through planning and detailed design stages
  • Liaising with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior team members where appropriate

About You

  • 5+ years UK consultancy experience in civil infrastructure
  • Strong experience in drainage and highway design for development projects
  • Proven background working on residential and/or commercial schemes
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with drainage design software
