Responsibilities

  • Support the Fleet Control Manager and Duty Fleet Controllers in directing, optimizing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the fleet, focusing on service delivery and enhancing the customers experience.
  • Provide real time information to passengers in all instances, including, but not limited to, service disruption messages on social media and to other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all vessels are adequately staffed day to day, in line with operational requirements and liaise with the Business Scheduling Executive to ensure correct crewing as required.
  • Responsible for cross-checking daily running orders against crew roster, shift inputs, ensuring scheduled crews are trained to work on their assigned boats.

Requirements

  • Responsible for responding to all charter booking enquiries from the Sales team, they are delivered according to the charter sheets in the most cost efficient way as appropriate, maintaining accurate records.
  • Advise Pier staff of passenger volumes if required.
  • Support with cancellations: rolling out the craft cancellations and passenger information as required using real time information systems, along with information to all in house departments.
  • Ensure the fleet operations department is adhering to the WTD and all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure sickness and absence within the Fleet Operations team is appropriately entered into the scheduling system, and return to work forms are filled, and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Responsible for recording last minute shift changes or overtime on the scheduling system, to prevent any discrepancies in crew contractual hours or pay and track departmental recharge costs.
