Thames Riverworks Piling Ltd are a Marine Construction Company based on the River Thames in Shepperton, Middx. Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully. Please make your application promptly.
We operate a fleet of crane barges, tugs and floating craft that are used to undertake marine construction projects on the Thames and inland waterways. Riverworks install steel sheet piling, timber piling, build landing stages and moorings as well as many types of river bank repairs. Our customers range from private riparian owners to local authorities, civil engineering companies and marinas.
We are seeking an enthusiastic person keen to improve their skills in this industry and work alongside our existing team. You should have good practical skills, be able to work in a team, ideally have a full driving licence (or live locally), be able to swim and be physically fit and healthy. A knowledge of general building, carpentry skills, steelwork skills, ground work and boating experience would be an advantage but training will be given to the most suitable applicant.
28 days paid holiday per year including bank holidays. Uniform and protective equipment will be supplied. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with overtime available at certain times.
