About this role… We are looking for a Lead Worker to join the Snow Hill Court Team. Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation.
You will:
- Work with case work in a fast-paced environment, multiple workloads and information trackers, ensuring they are all up-to-date
- Ensure the needs of residents are met within contractual framework
- Receive and welcome residents into service and ensure protocols are followed
- Manage effectively accidents and incidents and Safeguarding following processes in place
- Promote equality and challenge any form of discrimination
You will be:
- Working with a different range of individuals with complex needs, preferentially in homelessness
- Experienced in prioritising workloads and working independently
- Experienced in leading and organising resources as identified
- Managing Health & Safety and ensuring Safeguarding of residents and staff
- Following instructions and processes
- Confident using a range of IT systems, including Microsoft Office
