A new opportunity is now available for a Workshop Controller / Manager at Thames Motor Group, Tunbridge Wells. Thames Motor Group is a family-owned and run dealership group with over 50 years of trading history. We have been based on the North Farm Industrial Estate in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, for nearly 30 years, and we also operate highly successful sites in Slough, Berkshire. In 2026, we were delighted to partner with Nissan and Chery, joining our heritage brands: Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, and Leapmotor. We pride ourselves on creating a customer-focused environment and maintaining a strong family culture within the business. The Role

We are looking for a results-oriented, organised, and driven individual to lead the workshop, motivate the team, and support our customers. The purpose of this role is to work closely with the Service Manager to help generate growth and increase profitability within the service department.

Main responsibilities:

  • Driving retail sales
  • Organising workshop activity and job allocation
  • Quality checking completed work
  • Auditing documentation ready for warranty submission and invoicing
  • Submitting technical cases to the manufacturer
  • Working effectively within the dealership team to always deliver industry leading standards of customer care and satisfaction

About You

The successful candidate will be:

Experience of Stellantis or Nissan systems and processes would be an advantage.
