As Philanthropy Executive in the Major Gifts team, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals and expanding our portfolio of mid-level and major donor prospects and supporters. Major Gifts are a vital income stream for Thames Hospice and will become increasingly important as we embark on an ambitious strategy to significantly grow our fundraising income over the next three years. This growth is essential to ensure we can continue delivering exceptional palliative care to our community.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships to secure funding for major gifts.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to nurture existing supporters and encourage long-term engagement.
- Demonstrate stewardship and sustain donor engagement.
- Collaborate with the Philanthropy Manager and Head of Major Gifts for professional development.
Qualifications
- Experience in building relationships to secure funding, particularly with high-net-worth individuals.
- Eager to learn and grow, with a strong communication skill set.
- Ability to work with experienced major donor fundraisers and develop skills in this area.
