Thames Hospice is an independent hospice based at Bray Lake, Maidenhead. Proudly serving our community for more than 36 years, we provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care as well as vital support for patients' families.
We are excited to have opened a brand-new Thames Hospice charity superstore in Reading which will serve as a retail hub for furniture, homewares, fashion, and an upcycling studio with a repair workshop, a distribution centre for donated goods and a coffee shop, and a hospitality space to rent for meetings.
We are looking to appoint a Bookings Line Clerk to join our Retail team reporting to our Superstore Manager. The role would be responsible for administering and scheduling the collections and delivery of donated furniture. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who has experience working in a furniture sales environment, who is organised and can prioritise workloads.
We are looking for someone who will embrace our culture, support your team with an ambitious positive attitude and enthusiasm. You will drive the performance targets whilst providing the best customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and is skilled in planning and organising rotas against delivery schedules.
