Overview
Lead Playworker (Breakfast Club) – Thames Ditton Junior School
8 hours 20 minutes per week, term time only, 38 weeks per year. To Commence September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist the line manager in the smooth running of the extended school provision.
- Support and supervise pupils, delivering a range of engaging recreational and educational activities.
- Contribute to the wider ethos and aims of the school.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Liaise with parents and manage staff as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience of working with primary school children in a supervisory or care role (preferred).
- Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare policies.
