Chrome Plater / Electroplater – Aerospace Salary: From £30,000 + depending on experience We’re looking for an experienced Chrome Plater / Electroplater to join a specialist aerospace surface treatment team. This is a hands-on role working with hard chrome plating and precision components , where quality, accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Key experience: Hard chrome / electroplating experience Aerospace, defence or precision engineering background Surface preparation, masking and jigging Understanding of plating temperatures, current density and coating thickness Experience working to drawings, specifications and process instructions Strong health safety awareness when handling chemicals Experience with AMS2460, NADCAP, AS9100, hydrogen de-embrittlement or aerospace special processes would be highly advantageous.
