About the role
Systems Test Engineer – Glasgow – Hybrid
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced DV Cleared Systems Test Engineer to contribute to ground-breaking solutions on large defence programs in the UK. You will be vital to the creation and implementation of platforms used for real-time system modelling and simulation and to the System Integration, Verification and Production testing.

Responsibilities in this role include:
- Design, develop and support the execution of Automated Test Solutions to increase effectiveness and efficiency across the product portfolio.
- Recommend and implement validation approaches, developing more accurate solutions across the test services.
- Work with product design teams to interface solutions coherently with SW, HW and Firmware architectures.
- Report, monitor and document test results, and perform detailed functional measurements.
- Provide on-site support to existing ATE at the Glasgow facility.
About you
You Have:
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- A strong understanding of electronic components, integrated circuitry, PCB and algorithms.
- Ability to utilise project, technical and delegation experience to actively lead the development of solutions.
- An appreciation for high engineering standards.
- Experience in Automated Modelling, Simulation or Test Methods.
Desired Experience:
- Electronic Engineering Degree or Relevant Discipline.
- Experienced user of LabView, or similar applications.
- Prior experience/proficiency in NI FPGA software and PXI-based equipment would be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g., light sources, oscilloscopes, data acquisition boards, amplifiers, switches).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Security clearance

It would be advantageous if DV clearance is currently held; if not, the successful applicant must obtain and maintain DV clearance prior to commencing employment.
