Product Safety Engineer (Glasgow/Green Park)

Join Thales as a Product Safety Engineer to contribute to the development of Land, Naval and Air products and systems within the Optronics & Missile Electronics (OME) organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate safety artefacts such as Safety & Environmental Management Plans, Hazard Logs, and Safety & Environmental Case Reports.
  • Facilitate hazard/risk identification including functional failure analysis, FMEA, Fault & Event Tree Analysis.
  • Develop product safety requirements and support Design Authorities in meeting legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Assist in producing bid estimates and review safety artefacts from team members.
  • Manage multiple safety programmes, including scheduling and stakeholder interaction.
  • Develop and deliver Product Safety training material.
