Thales in Templecombe is expanding, and we’re looking for hands-on, motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team within our Underwater Systems business unit.

Our Opportunities:

We have multiple vacancies across our manufacturing operations, including but not limited to:

  • Assembly technicians (mechanical/electrical)
  • Test technicians
  • Manufacturing Engineers
  • Quality Inspectors
  • Team Leaders

In these roles you will work closely with existing team members, Work Cell Managers and Manufacturing Engineers in delivering the outputs from the relevant work cell as per the business requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of their role in our operations
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Good with practical, hands-on work

These roles will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
