Role: Testing/Repair Technician

Location: Templecombe

Responsibilities

  • Perform Electrical and Mechanical test operations as defined by routings, manufacturing instructions, test procedures and drawings
  • Identify faults and recommend/propose rework activities for customer and developmental items
  • Maintain necessary documentation as part of the build/repair process
  • Ensure production equipment and tools are used and maintained to the required workshop standards

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-skilled production environment or similar
  • Knowledge of integration of electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Working within IPC standards
  • Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
  • Ability to follow processes and instructions
  • Teamwork and collaboration within a manufacturing setting

Security Clearance

This role requires SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not, the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please refer to UK government guidance for further information. To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
